International Traffic in Arms Regulations

ITAR regulations dictate that information and material pertaining to defense and military related technologies (items listed on the U.S. Munitions List) may only be shared with U.S. persons. Exceptions include authorization from the Department of State, or the use of a special exemption.

The State Department’s Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) requires that companies manufacturing and distributing goods listed under the USML be ITAR certified and compliant. Component Engineers Inc. certifies that they operate in accordance with the ITAR.
