| |  In-Process SPC Data Collection
The Orion SPC Data Collection System is an integrated system through which real-time in-process inspection data can be collected and analyzed using both standard measuring instruments and dedicated gauges. All production employees are trained for in-process inspection and SPC, as required, for critical dimensions. This process enables CEI to proactively monitor and improve the production processes and provide the level of quality that our customers have come to expect. CEI now operates two Orion SPC Data Collection Systems to maximize quality assurance of critical dimensions. One system is installed between the wire EDM and CNC departments, and the second has recently been installed in our pressroom.
